Founded in 2017 by Andrea An and Jesse Weiman, Nolita Studios emerged from a shared vision to create a nurturing environment where artists can thrive. With over 20 years of experience in music production, and several years in visual storytelling, and brand development, we’ve combined our expertise to offer a holistic approach to advancing artists’ careers.

Co-owner | Music Producer, Songwriter and Educator
Jesse Weiman is a music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and educator with over 20 years of experience in music production and performance. As co-owner and lead producer of Nolita Studios, he specializes in music production, songwriting, recording, mixing, and music education, helping artists develop their sound, strengthen their musical abilities, and transform their creative ideas into professionally produced music.
Jesse's journey in music began at a young age, teaching himself guitar and exploring music production as a teenager. Since then, he has worked with emerging and established musicians across multiple genres, producing and engineering numerous albums and singles, including recordings that have charted in the Top 50 on Canadian country radio.
His production credits include award-winning projects such as Codie Prevost's RADIO (2019 SCMA Album of the Year) and Amanda Hagel's Listen With Your Heart (2017 SCMA Gospel Album of the Year). In 2022, Bloom, the debut album by Andrea An, produced by Jesse, was ranked #7 on SaskMusic's Best Saskatchewan Albums of the Year list.
Throughout his career, Jesse has received multiple industry nominations, including Studio of the Year and Keyboard Player of the Year at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards. He also served as a 2025 JUNO Awards adjudicator in the Instrumental category, reflecting his experience and involvement in Canada's music industry. His technical work extends beyond music production, including ADR contributions to the Netflix feature film Rez Ball.
Beyond the recording studio, Jesse is passionate about songwriting mentorship and music education. With eight years of teaching experience in the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools system, he brings a patient, practical, and encouraging approach to working with students of different ages and abilities. As a multi-instrumentalist proficient in guitar, piano, bass, and drums, he offers guitar lessons and songwriting coaching that help students build confidence, develop their creativity, and prepare for live performance.
Whether collaborating with an artist on an original song, producing a full recording project, or helping a student develop their musical abilities, Jesse takes a collaborative, hands-on approach to every session. His goal is to provide artists and students with the skills, knowledge, and creative support they need to grow as musicians, develop their confidence, and achieve their musical goals.

Andrea An is a Vietnamese-Canadian recording artist, songwriter, and creative professional with over a decade of experience in the music industry. As co-owner of Nolita Studios, she specializes in artist development, music consulting, and creative direction, helping emerging and independent musicians build their careers with confidence, clarity, and purpose.Since beginning her music career in 2015, Andrea has gained firsthand experience in songwriting, recording, music releases, artist branding, marketing, and audience development. Through her own independent music career, she has built an international audience, earned radio support across Canada and internationally, secured collaborations with major global brands including Angry Birds and Wayfair, and accumulated hundreds of thousands of music streams.
Andrea understands the challenges of navigating the music industry independently, from developing an artistic identity and planning releases to exploring promotional opportunities and making important career decisions. Drawing from her personal experiences and industry knowledge, she works closely with artists through one-on-one coaching and consulting, providing practical guidance, constructive feedback, and actionable strategies to help them move their careers forward.
With a background in Interior Design and years of experience in photography, videography, and visual storytelling, Andrea also brings a strong creative perspective to artist branding and presentation. Her work behind the camera has earned multiple Saskatchewan Country Music Association nominations for Music Video of the Year, further strengthening her understanding of how music, visuals, and storytelling contribute to an artist's identity.
Andrea's approach to artist development is collaborative, honest, and supportive. Whether an artist is preparing to release their first single, refining their brand, developing a marketing strategy, or simply looking for a trusted professional to exchange ideas with, she strives to provide a welcoming space where musicians can ask questions, explore opportunities, and make informed decisions.
Andrea believes that independent artists deserve access to knowledgeable guidance without compromising their creative vision. Through her work at Nolita Studios, she is passionate about empowering musicians with the knowledge, direction, and support they need to pursue their artistic goals and build sustainable careers in music.
